Ross Roof Group have commissioned a new Titania colour satin finish tile under their Metrotile brand following strong enquiry for lighter coloured roofing options.
The first of these Titania colour tiles rolled out of their Takanini manufacturing plant in November 2015, and has been selected by Platinum Homes to adorn their new Karaka Harbourside showhome, which is currently under construction. Platinum Homes have selected the Shake profile, which also lends the roof some strength qualities that make it much harder wearing for foot traffic as other trades complete the build. The Metrotile Shake satin-finish tile features the wood-grain appearance of traditional shake. Its deep-ribbed profile is designed to enhance the shadow lines and create visual contrast. With Metrotile Shake you can enjoy this look combined with all the benefits of steel.
The contrast between the Titania colour and dark cladding will provide the building with some strong lines, which can be seen clearly on the gables where the Titania V-ridge barge caps stand out against the black timber fascia boards.
This first roof has been installed by Scott Harris of SH Roofing, a long time Metrotile installer renowned for his attention to detail, and high quality finish. The result speaks for itself.
